The top seeded Alabama Crimson Tide (22-6, 16-2) will play the fourth seeded Tennessee Volunteers (17-7, 10-7) tomorrow at noon CT in the SEC Tournament semi-finals. The Crimson Tide earned its place in the semis by way of defeating Mississippi State 85-48, Tennessee claimed its semifinal place by beating Florida 78-66.

Alabama's win over the Mississippi State Bulldogs was the program's largest win in an SEC Tournament game. The reigning SEC regular season champion Alabama Crimson Tide defeated Tennessee in its only meeting of the season, 71-63 in Knoxville. At the time it was a top 10 win for head coach Nate Oats as it was the second win in the teams 10-game SEC winning streak.

In the two teams prior contest the Vols and Tide played a close first half the lead changed hands seven times in the game's first 20 minutes. The Tide took control in the second half in the game in January and never looked back on its way to an eight-point victory.

Both teams enter tomorrow's semifinals likely without key players. For the Crimson Tide, freshman guard Josh Primo went down in the second half with what looked like a knee injury. Primo is getting an MRI at Vanderbilt. The Vols may not have senior forward John Fulkerson after the big man took two shots to the head from Florida's Omar Payne. Fulkerson is currently under medical observation.

The game will be broadcast on ESPN but can be heard locally on 95.3 The Bear by way of Crimson Tide Sports Network with a pregame show beginning at 11 a.m. CT.
