TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Alabama dominated the East Carolina Pirates in a 38-point win at home, and yet the victory felt like the Crimson Tide had much more to work on, including settling the starting quarterback's nerves. Russell was more than efficient with 249 yards and a 130.7 rating, while adding 86 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
