Prepping for Alabama-LSU with Cecil Hurt

Cecil Hurt, of the Tuscaloosa News, joined Host of "Southern Fried Sports" Travis Reier Tuesday morning to span the SEC, look ahead to Alabama's toughest match up yet against LSU.

"I've never been a big fan of the weekly release," Hurt discussed the college football playoff rankings with Reier. "because they box themselves in, they create expectations with doing one this week."

"Say LSU is ranked number one," Hurt continued. "That wouldn't surprise me at all. Well if Alabama beats them, doesn't Alabama have to move up somewhere above LSU. Don't they have to move up to number one if they beat LSU?"

"He was out at practice yesterday,"  Hurt provided an update on Tua Tagovailoa's ankle to Reier. "People said he looks fine through the course of the practice. It's not Saturday yet, so could always have a setback. But the official word remains it will be a game time decision."
