The 6-foot guard out of Huntsville, Alabama, is projected to be selected No.14 overall, and for good reason: she's one of the most lethal 3-point shooters in the class and has the resume to back it up.

Over her collegiate career - which included time at Illinois before transferring to Alabama - Nye developed a reputation as a pure shooter with the kind of range and confidence that can tilt the floor. She not only led the team in 3-pointers, but also etched her name in the program's record books, finishing as one of the Crimson Tide's all-time leaders in made threes.

"Nye is obviously an excellent 3-point shooter," said ESPN analyst Andraya Carter during a pre-draft conference call. "She had a great career at Alabama, broke records, and the ability to knock down shots and stretch the floor with her size is appealing."
