Previewing the Top Position Battles of Spring Camp for Alabama Football

Alabama football makes its return to the practice field on Tuesday with the start of spring camp and the position battles will start fresh as the team works towards the 2018 season.

Most of the attention will be paid to the quarterback position with Jalen Hurts and Tua Tagovailoa both returning, but the Crimson Tide lost another wave of talent to the NFL so many new faces will get an opportunity to earn a starting job next season. While nothing will be decided between now and the A-Day game on April 21, a lot of the groundwork will be laid during the limited practice time over the next month.

As we turn our attention to football practice on-air, Martin Houston gave his thoughts on which positions would be the most intriguing and what he'll be watching for at each Alabama workout.
