As we begin our countdown to Alabama's season opener against Middle Tennessee State, we begin with former Alabama defensive tackle Raekwon Davis.

Davis, a member of Alabama's 2016 recruiting class, ranked No. 92 in the 247Sports rankings. The Meridian, Ms., native joined Quinnen Williams and Jalen Hurts as members of the 2016 class.

As a member of the Crimson Tide from 2016-19, Davis racked up 175 total tackles and 11.5 sacks as a key piece of the Alabama front seven, helping led the Tide to three national title appearances.

Davis declared for the draft after his senior campaign, getting picked up by the Miami Dolphins in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, landing in the same spot as Alabama alumnus Tua Tagovailoa.
