With nearly a month until the BCS National championship game and a week until the Alabama Crimson Tide are to return to practice, there has to be something to talk about, right?

This was the case Monday after the Boston Globe's Greg Bedard speculated in a Sunday article that Alabama head coach Nick Saban could return to the NFL, rehashing the Cleveland Browns rumors that spread weeks back.  Bedard noted that NFL Network analyst Mike Lombardi, a friend of Saban, could take the Browns GM position and bring his friend with him.

Like many, Travis Reier of Bamaonline heard the rumors. Reier joined The Game Monday night and noted that for a coach like Saban there are still plenty of challenges in Tuscaloosa, adding the Alabama coach is much better suited for the college game.

In addition to the control Saban has at Alabama, Reier feels like the Tuscaloosa community is not only a better fit for the Crimson Tide coach, but his family as well.

While the rumors have certainly sent some Alabama fans into a scurry, there is one bright spot to it all-the rumors just mean Alabama has one of the most desirable coaches in the country.  Both Saban and his wife Terry have said that Tuscaloosa will be their last coaching stop.
