Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban usually makes an appearance in Mobile for the annual Senior Bowl, but this year he's expected to play a more involved role in the fan engagement activities to the senior showcase puts on throughout the week. On February 1, Saban will join a host of football coaches and personalities at the Senior Bowl Summit at the Saenger Theater in The Port City.

The event will be held at 6 p.m. CST with tickets starting at just $25. ESPN color commentator and College Gameday analyst Kirk Herbstreit will moderate the event, handing out the questions to the likes of Saban, Auburn head coach Bryan Harsin, Michigan State head coach Mel Tucker, Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian and Penn State head coach James Franklin.

Comedian Joey Mulinaro, whose Saban and Ed Orgeron impressions are keen to rile up social media with regularity is also scheduled for the event.

Of course, Saban won't be the only Crimson Tide representative in Mobile for Senior Bowl week. Running back Brian Robinson and defensive lineman Phidarian Mathis are expected to be full participants for the Senior Bowl. Both have been named to the American Team roster coached by Dan Campbell and the Detroit Lions coaching staff. Robert Saleh and the New York Jets will coach the National Team.

Senior Bowl practices begin January 31 culminating with the game itself February 5 at 1:30 p.m. CST inside Hancock Whitney Stadium on the campus of the University of South Alabama.
