Several Prospects Have Locked in Visits With the Crimson Tide for This Upcoming Summer This Week
Alabama has made a lot of buzz in recruiting since its season ended in the ReliaQuest Bowl in Tampa Bay, Florida, when the Crimson Tide lost 19-13 to Big Ten foe Michigan. Alabama head coach Kalen Deboer and his staff scheduled numerous official visits from top prospects this week.
Deboer is looking to build another talented recruiting class for the Tide in his second year after his first recruiting class in Tuscaloosa finished ranked third in the nation and third in the SEC according to 247's Composite Team Rankings, which included five-star quarterback Keelon Russel from Duncanville, Texas, who is Alabama's highest-rated prospect in school history, with a rating of 0.997, beating out Bryce Young's 0.994, according to 247 Sports.
This year appears to be no different, as the Crimson Tide is actively competing for several top prospects in the 2026 class. Alabama has received two crystal ball predictions for four-star recruits this month. On February 10th, On3's Chad Simmons predicted that the Tide would secure Jorden Edmonds, the No. 7 cornerback in the class, who is currently a junior at Sprayberry High School in Marietta, Georgia. Additionally, on Monday, On3's Steve Wiltfong predicted that Mack Sutter, the No. 6 tight end in the class from Dunlap, Illinois, would also commit to Alabama.
Currently, the recruiting schedule is in a "dead period," which will end on March 3rd, according to the NCAA Division 1 Football Recruiting Schedule. Following this, the schedule will transition into a "quiet period." The Crimson Tide has maintained its momentum during this time after a successful Junior Day on February 1st, where they hosted several top commitments. Coach Deboer and the Tide are now preparing to welcome prospects for the spring, with 2026 4-star inside offensive lineman Micah Smith from Vero Beach, Florida, already scheduling his first visit to the Crimson Tide's campus from March 21 to March 23.
Let's examine the prospects who announced official visits to Alabama's campus this past week.
4 Star IOL Ekene Ogboko, South Garner (Garner, NC)
Ogboko is a six-foot-six, 280-pound four-star offensive tackle ranked No. 21 overall by 247 Sports in the 2026 recruiting class. Ogboko informed 247 Sports Tom Loy on Monday that he intends to visit the Tide's campus on June 13th.
The 4-star offensive lineman received his first offer from the Tide in March 2024. He attended Alabama's junior day earlier this month and left with positive impressions of the program. Ogboko shared with On3's Steve Wiltfong that Alabama is one of his "top schools."
On his official visit, Ogboko will be joined by his three-star edge teammate, Ebenzer Ewetade.

4 Star RB Ezavier Crowell, Jackson (Jackson, AL)
Crowell is another prospect who has locked in a visit with the Tide, with the four-star running back intending to be in Tuscaloosa from June 20th to the 22nd, as Crowell confirmed via X Wednesday.
One of Alabama's top prospects was the No.1 running back in the 2027 class before reclassifying to the 2026 class in January. The 5-foot-11, 205-pound halfback currently ranks as the No.6 running back in the 2026 class and the sixth-ranked prospect out of Alabama, according to 247 Sports Composite Rankings.
Crowell, who is very close to Deboer and his staff, has scheduled his seventh visit to Alabama's campus with this one being his first official visit according to On3. The last time the In-state prospect visited the Tide was during Alabama's Junior Day.
Alabama is considered the favorite to land the 4-star running back, with the Crimson Tide looking like the favorite to land Crowell over in-state rival Auburn, whom the 4-star running back has also scheduled a future visit for on June 13th.
Crowell has 3,701 rushing yards and 56 rushing touchdowns in two years at Jackson High School, with the 4-star running for 1,964 yards and 31 touchdowns in his sophomore season this year.

4-Star S Kaiden Hall, Milton (Milton, FL)
Hall, a ball-hawking safety, is another prospect who has recently announced his plans to visit Deboer and the Crimson Tide this summer. The 4-star safety informed On3 on Wednesday that Hall has scheduled an official visit for June 13th.
On3 ranks Hall as the No. 2 safety in the 2026 class. He is a four-star prospect standing at 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 175 pounds.
Alabama has been particularly active in Hall's recruitment, with the 4-star safety visiting Tuscaloosa six times, second only to his in-state school, Florida, which has hosted Hall seven times according to On3. The four-star safety last visited Alabama's campus in February for the Crimson Tide's Junior Day.
Hall's junior season ended with 32 total tackles and 3 tackles for loss in 7 games. The four-star concluded his sophomore season with 64 tackles, eight tackles for loss, and one interception.

4-Star LB Izayia Williams, Tavares (Leesburg, FL)
Williams is one of numerous prospects who have announced plans to visit the Crimson Tide's campus this summer, with Williams scheduling an official visit for June 6th on Tuesday, according to On3's Steve Wiltfong.
Williams, who stands 6 feet 1 and weighs 215 pounds, is an athletic freak with mind-boggling strength and speed. On3 ranks the 4 star as the No.7 linebacker in the 2026 class and a top 100 prospect.
Alabama landed on William's top five list, which he informed Hayes Fawcett about on January 17th.
Williams finished his junior season with 137 total tackles, 22 tackles for loss, six sacks, and one interception.
