his past Saturday, February 1st, 2025, Kalen Deboer and the Crimson Tide conducted their annual Junior Day, where the Tide welcomed a star-studded crowd of top prospects in the 2026 and 2027 classes.

Deboer and his staff left a lasting impression on many of the visits, with some top prospects in the 2026 class praising the Tide following the Tide's junior day. Brandon Arlington, Mount Miguel's (Spring Valley, California) class of 2026 5 Star Defensive Back, told Touchdown Alabama that "it was great." Arlington added, "Alabama is a high option."

Arlington is a 6'2 180-pound Senior from California who is currently listed as the No.1 ATH in the 2026 class and the No. 2 overall player in the state of California, according to On3 Industry Ranking.

Arlington, the number two player in California for the class of 2026, had a breakout junior season in which he made an impact on both sides of the ball, recording 7 pass breakups, 1 interception, and 2 forced fumbles on defense and ten touchdowns on offense.

 

 

 

 

Alabama has also secured some official visits from key prospects following their annual Junior Day this past Saturday, with class of 2026 4 star edge Kamhariyan Johnson from Muscle Shoals in Tuscaloosa from June 6th to June 8th, according to Touchdown Alabama. According to Rivals, Johnson is currently listed as the 16th overall prospect in Alabama and the 19th best Edge in the 2026 class.

 

Johnson has 71 total tackles, 11 sacks, 13 tackles for loss, two pass breakups, a forced fumble, and a field goal block during his junior season.

 

 

 

 

Deboer and his staff have scheduled an official visit with Trenton Henderson from Pensacola Catholic High School in Pensacola, Florida, who informed On3's Steve Wilfong that the highly regarded Edge will return to Tuscaloosa on June 6th. On3 has Henderson listed as the fourth top Edge prospect in the 2026 class, as well as the 29th best overall prospect.

Henderson had a spectacular junior season, making 50 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, 6 pass breakups, and a forced fumble in just 10 games.

 

 

 

 

Alabama landed another official visit, this time from class of 2026 4 Star tight end Kaiden Prothro, who did not attend the Tide's Junior Day this past Saturday but declared today that he will be in Tuscaloosa on June 6th for an official visit with Alabama, according to On3's Chad SimmonsOn3 has the junior tight end from Bowdon High School in Bowdon, Georgia, listed as the second best tight end in the 2026 class and the third best prospect in the state of Florida.

 

Prothro had an amazing junior season, helping Bowden win the State Championship and giving the Red Devils a three-peat. The four-star tight end had 1,203 receiving yards, 56 receptions, and 22 touchdowns this season.

 

 

 

Alabama finished Junior Day in an excellent position to pull together another great class for 2026, which currently has only one commit, 4 star defensive back Ryan Gibson, who committed on Christmas Eve. Deboer and the Tide will aim to stack another top three class after the 2025 class finished third in the nation and second in the SEC, trailing just Georgia, according to On3 Team Recruiting.
