Storms likely for Halloween in Alabama
Make sure your kids have a back-up plan for Trick-or-Treating this year, as showers and thunderstorms are likely throughout the state on October 31. The National Weather Service in Birmingham's Halloween Forecast calls for a 40% chance of storms after 4pm and a near 100% chance of storms by 7pm for Tuscaloosa. Winds of 15 to 20 mph are also a possibility, making it a breezy day in West Alabama.
If you find your Trick-or-Treating plans washed out, try a fun indoors alternative: invite friends over to watch scary movies, send the kids on a scavenger hunt around the house for candy, or turn off all the lights and tell ghost stories by candlelight.
