Former Crimson Tide quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa, is putting down roots in his new home city. Drafted fifth overall in the 2020 NFL draft by the Miami Dolphins, Tagovailoa has purchased a home in South Florida.

He signed a four-year, $30.2 million contract with a $19.6 million signing bonus with a team fifth-year option and has decided to spend $1.65 million on his new six bedroom, four and half bathroom, 5,200-square foot pad.

This is the second major purchase that's been reported on by Tagovailoa after buying his mother a Cadillac Escalade for Mother's Day.

His new home should be able to accommodate his large family anytime they wish to come visit or stay for a game. Located in Davie, FL. the home is just outside of Miami but close enough to be a short commute to work for the rookie quarterback.

Tagovailoa has started off training camp well, building rapport with his new teammates. It is unclear if he will start the opening week of the season or if the Dolphins will instead go with veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick.

He will be throwing to former first round pick DeVante Parker when he does play, hoping to build off Parker's career year last year. Parker hauled in 72 receptions for 1,202 yards and nine touchdowns in 2019 from Fitzpatrick and third team quarterback Josh Rosen.

No matter if Tagovailoa plays in 2020 or not he will be comfortable in his new South Florida home.
