Kadarius Calloway flips his college football commitment from the Mississippi State Bulldogs to the Alabama Crimson Tide. Calloway is a three-star prospect out of Philadelphia High School in Philadelphia, Mississippi. The 247Sports Composite ranks him as the number 24 athlete in the nation and the sixth overall prospect in the state of Mississippi. He becomes the 11th commitment in the 2021 recruiting cycle for the Crimson Tide and his commitment moves Alabama up to the 11th overall recruiting class, according to 247Sports.
Alabama appears to have hired a new football coach. Freddie Roach returns to the Capstone after several years away to coach the Crimson Tide defensive line. Former defensive line coach Brian Baker has moved to an off-field role with the program. Roach comes to Alabama after coaching defensive line at Ole Miss for the past three seasons.
