If you’re anything like me, every day the news of the day is the projections of when sports are returning. I have always preferred having an end goal in mind, and the fact that most major sports leagues have pushed their return dates to late summer and early fall means that we could be looking at one of the best seasons of sports to date.

According to Pete Thamel of Yahoo Sports, the NCAA football oversight committee is working on a recommendation that would propose a six-week preseason football camp this season. The details of the proposal will likely be ironed out next week. According to Thamel the football oversight committee is targeting a mid-June date to submit the proposal to the NCAA Division I Council.

Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh penned an open letter full of proposals that would change the landscape of college football. Harbaugh wants to overhaul the college eligibility system and model it more similarly to college baseball. The Michigan coach reflected on his own career as a a college athlete and his experience as a college coach as a basis for these proposals.
