On Tuesday, November 1st, Alabama Outside Linebacker Will Anderson Jr. and Defensive Back Kool-Aid McKinstry were named semifinalist for the Bednarik award.

The Alabama Crimson Tide pass rush bounced back against Mississippi State after a rough outing against Tennessee. The team accounted for four total sacks as well as five quarterback hurries to give Will Rogers a tough outing in Tuscaloosa.

Alabama is also starting another streak for Mississippi State as the team that seems to have become the Tide's bounce-back opponent.

The Alabama Crimson Tide traveled to Knoxville to face off against the Tennessee Volunteers after narrowing escaping Texas A&M. In the matchup against the Aggies, the Tide pass rush came up big with three sacks and 14 QB hurries against Haynes King. This weekend the group did not come up as big, only recording one sack and no hurries on the day.
