Recently, the Alabama Crimson Tide have not had much success in Jordan-Hare Stadium, as the Tide have dropped its last two match-ups in Auburn. The Tide travel to The Plains once again this Saturday, looking to pick up their first win in Auburn since 2015.

When were the Tide actually able to pull off wins against the Tigers on the road? Here are the last five times that the Tide toppled the Tigers in Auburn.

1999- #8 Alabama 28 Auburn 17

Down by six at the end of the third quarter, Alabama needed a spark to avoid the upset against their bitter rival. That spark was running back Shaun Alexander. Alexander ran the ball efficiently and picked up three touchdowns in the fourth quarter leading the Tide to a 28-17 victory.

2001- Alabama 31 #17 Auburn 7

The Tigers came into this game with hopes of making the SEC championship in a few weeks, but the Tide had other plans. Alabama came into Jordan-Hare and completely dominated the Tigers, 31-7. Andrew Zow threw two touchdown passes and Santonio Beard added two rushing touchdowns.

2009- #2 Alabama 26 Auburn 21

En route to their thirteenth national championship, the Tide had to first endure a tough road battle in Auburn. The Tide came into this game looking to snap a three-game skid in Jordan-Hare. Down by one with a perfect season on the line, Greg McElroy found Roy Upchurch in the end zone with 1:24 left in the game, escaping the plains with a narrow 26-21 victory.

2011- #2 Alabama 42 #24 Auburn 14

En route to their fourteenth national championship, the Tide once again traveled to Jordan-Hare Stadium to face their bitter rival. This time Alabama cruised over Auburn 42-14 behind AJ McCarron’s three touchdown passes.

2015- #2 Alabama 29 Auburn 13

En route to their sixteenth national championship… you know the rest. Adam Griffith hit five field goals and the Tide defense held strong, leading Alabama to a 29-13 win over Auburn.
