The ongoing quarterback battle at Alabama has left the college football world anxiously waiting for the release of the team's depth chart. Unfortunately for those people, head coach Nick Saban opted to not release one.

Saban explained during his press conference on Monday why the depth chart was not released, saying it was a distraction for the players, but that explanation simply was not enough for some people.

Tim Brando of Fox Sports in particular was not a fan of Saban's words, taking to "X", formally known as Twitter, to vent his frustration.

Brando goes on in the post and asks "Why bully his local media in such a manner? The…kissing he’s demanding here is a joke! When much is given, much is also expected and the Goat needs to act like the greatest as opposed using your brand as a bully pulpit and that’s all this is!"

He then ends the post by calling out the quarterback situation and claims that the real reason a starter has not been named is because the "QB room ain't what it used to be."

Brando's "bullying the local media" claim is referenced once again in another post he made when responding to a fan about LSU doing the same thing.

Brando wraps up his response by stating that "The guys preparing to call games are the first that get blasted when there’s a pause when we’re not sure which number #23 made the play (oh dual numbers are allowed in CFB) it’s just weak to claim that depth charts affect our poor guys negatively. No, the Coach is unwilling to change and his got a QB controversy he brought on himself. Simple as that."
