Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and his team were able to fend off a late Chicago Bears push and win 35-32. Miami's record improved to 6-3 thanks to 302 yards and three touchdowns from Tua.

Tagovailoa is the first player in Dolphins history to have three straight games with 300+ pass yards, three pass touchdowns, and no interceptions. He has a passer rating of 115.9, which leads the NFL and, in his previous 13 games, Tua has a 12-1 record while starting and finishing.

The Dolphins jumped out to a quick lead, scoring 21 points before halftime. Tagovailoa completed 11-of-13 passes for a touchdown in the first half and connected with former Alabama teammate Jaylen Waddle for an 18-yard touchdown in the third quarter. Tua had a rating of 135.7 at the end of the game.

Waddle had five catches for 85 yards and a touchdown on the day. The former Alabama receiver is fourth in the league in receiving yards and he and Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill, who leads the league in receiving yards, are on pace to set numerous records as a receiving tandem. Waddle and Hill have combined for 1,688 receiving yards entering this game. That is the most in NFL history by two teammates in the first eight games of a season, surpassing Isaac Bruce and Torry Holt in "The Greatest Show on Turf."

Their success is comparable to what Tua Tagovailoa has been producing for Miami. With precision passing and accuracy, it's no surprise that Waddle and Hill have been playing so well with a quarterback who can efficiently distribute the ball to them.
