Twitter Reacts To Alabama Earning No. 1 Ranking
Monday, the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide (22-3, 12-0) earned its first AP Top 25 ranking since the 2002-03 season and inaugural top spot in the USA TODAY Coaches Poll.
Alabama jumped No. 2 Houston in the polls following an impressive thrashing of Florida and a road win over rival Auburn.
The Tide is projected to earn the top seed in next month's NCAA Tournament bracket as of now, with the No. 1 spot in the rankings to its name.
No. 1 in mid February may not mean much in the final rankings, but it serves as a reminder to America of just how good this Alabama team is. Moral victories are for those on the other side of the state. However, a Saban-like '24-hour rule' can apply for fans with there being two days until the Tide tips off in Knoxville.
