Fans celebrate as Alabama basketball rises to No. 1 ranking.

Alabama finds itself atop the AFCA Coaches Poll after a dominant win over the Arkansas Razorbacks in Fayetteville.

The first Amway Coaches Poll of the college football season has been released. The Alabama Crimson Tide was ranked third in the inaugural poll and received zero first place votes. Clemson and Ohio State were ranked first and second respectively.

Defending national champion Alabama is a unanimous No. 1 in the preseason coaches' poll, with Clemson No. 2 and Ohio State No. 3.

Without playing a game in week 5, the Alabama Crimson Tide moved up to #1 in the Amway Coaches Poll. Florida State lost the top spot after holding on to win 56-41 against NC State in a game where the Seminoles trailed by as many as 17 points at one time...

Defending champion Florida State will enter the 2014 season as the clear-cut favorite according to college football coaches. The Seminoles received 56 of 62 first place votes in the preseason Amway Coaches Poll.
