It is no secret The University of Alabama is an everything school when it comes to sports domination. So, it should come as no surprise that Alabama’s Adapted Athletics program is just as talented.

As of this current season, Alabama Adapted sponsors men and women’s wheelchair basketball, as well as wheelchair tennis. The program is looking to add rowing and wheelchair track in the near future.

The women’s basketball team is undefeated thus far in the 2020-2021 season. Although there was a break in the season due to Covid-19, the Tide is currently sitting 5-0 overall and 2-0 in conference.

Alabama’s Adapted women’s basketball team are no strangers to winning titles. The team has won six women’s basketball national championships, with the latest one being in 2019.

The ladies updated schedule has them traveling to Arlington, Texas this weekend, February 12-13, for their next tournament.

The men’s basketball team has also had a great run. The team has three national titles since 2013, and also claimed the men’s basketball national championship title in 2019.

The team currently sits at 5-5 on the season. The Crimson Tide is looking to add to its winning column with their weekend tournament also hosted by The University of Texas at Arlington. The men’s basketball game will promptly follow the women’s coverage.
