
West Alabama Claims 8U USA World Series
Last weekend, the West Alabama 8U Softball team claimed the USA World Series. The West Alabama team also secured the District Championship, Area Finals, and State Championship and will now add the World Series to an impressive ledger for the 2025 season. They went undefeated over three days in the sweltering July heat to claim the World Series.

The West Alabama 8U All-Star Team had an impressive season, with a 24-2 overall record en route to their championship victory. During the season, they outscored their opponents 326-107.
Hunter Taylor led the way as the head coach, with assistant coaches Beau Laird, Brandon Massengale, John Clark, and Wes Thomas. The players who helped secure the second-ever USA 8U World Series victory for West Alabama are:
