The Hillcrest Patriots dropped their second game of the season after being shut out for the first time since 2020 in a 24-0 loss to Hewitt-Trussville.
Oak Mountain at Tuscaloosa County
Oak Mountain dominated on the road in 7A play, with the Tuscaloosa County Wildcats falling 43-7.
Northridge at Central
It took an overtime thriller and a failed two-point conversion, but the Central Falcons walked away winners of a 31-30 matchup with the Northridge Jaguars.
Shelby County at Northside

Bibb County rolled over Holt at home with a 40-0 win.
Francis Marion at Holy Spirit
Holy Spirit also got a shutout victory at home over Francis Marion, 20-0.
American Christian Academy at Fairfield
ACA dominated on the road, securing a 43-18 victory over Fairfield.
Gordo at Midfield
The Gordo Greenwave accumulated 600 yards of total offense as they torched Midfield 56-20 on Friday night.
Fayette County at Haleyville
Fayette County dropped a 60-piece on Haleyville on Friday in a 61-21 thrashing.
Sipsey Valley at Jemison
Sipsey Valley got a good win on the road over Jemison, defeating them 26-7.
Tuscaloosa Academy at Greene County
Tuscaloosa Academy got back in the winner's circle on Friday night with a 41-12 victory over Greene County.
