After eight days of fall practice, the Alabama football team gets a chance to suit up and go full speed in the first scrimmage on Saturday.

Nick Saban and the coaching staff will have their first chance to evaluate players to see how they perform in game-like scenarios. It's an opportunity for guys to begin getting separation from the others competing for a position. There are a number of starting spots up for grabs the weeks from the season opener against Florida State.
