Fall practice began this morning for Alabama, but first year players won't have their first taste of action until this evening at 7:30pm. As Coach Saban does to begin every season, he has first year players practice by themselves in order to get acclimated to the tempo and flow.

This philosophy also allows the incoming freshmen class and JUCO transfers to get hands on instruction while preventing them from feeling overwhelmed and overlooked. There usually are some second and third year players at this practice to provide guidance and leadership.

What this means for us is that we'll be able to provide a more focused look on the players you've been looking forward to seeing in crimson and white. The media viewing period will be the same length, but we'll try to get pictures of as many players as possible. With the another top-ranked class taking the field, we realize that there's a lot of intrigue about everyone.

But if there's anyone in particular you are really interested in, please leave the name below, post it on our Facebook page, or send us a tweet. We'll put a priority on any players you want to see.
