2014 SEC/Big 12 Challenge Set, Alabama Not in the Field

The second annual SEC/Big 12 Challenge will feature 10 games played over four days from Dec. 3-6 in a matchup of two premier college basketball conferences. All 10 of the Big 12’s teams and 10 of the SEC’s 14 member institutions will participate in this year’s event.

ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU will combine to televise all 10 games of the event. Each of the games will also be available via WatchESPN.

“The ability to showcase SEC basketball in this kind of inter-conference competition makes this a unique and exciting event for our coaches, student-athletes and fans,” SEC Commissioner Mike Slive said.

Start times and network designations will be announced at a later date.
