
Crimson Tide Ranked No. 8 in Initial AP Poll for 2025
Alabama finished last season ranked No. 17, the Tide's lowest end-of-season ranking since 2007, in the AP Poll. Alabama still has a lot of promise for the 2025 season, but the Tide came in ranked at its lowest preseason ranking since 2008.

Alabama is officially ranked No. 8 to start the regular season, but is the third-highest-ranked SEC team.
