Alabama Football Unveils 2026 A-Day Format
The Crimson Tide's annual A-Day event was already revealed to be returning to a scrimmage format earlier in March, but more details have been released around the scrimmage ahead of the Tide's 2026 football season.

According to a release by the University of Alabama, admission and public parking will remain free of charge, with the Walk of Fame ceremony at Denny Chimes set to take place at 11:00 a.m. CT. The Crimson Tide's 2025 captains, quarterback Ty Simpson, center Parker Brailsford, linebacker Deontae Lawson, and defensive lineman Tim Keenan III, will have their hand and cleat prints put into the concrete at Denny Chimes. After the ceremony, the Crimson Tide will participate in the Walk of Champions at 12:45 p.m., where the Tide will participate in a two-hour scrimmage beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Last year's A-Day format was an open practice, similar to the Fan Day event that takes place in the Fall. Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer said last week that last year's format was mostly due to injuries at key areas, including tight end, where Alabama had one healthy scholarship player available by April. A-Day will return to a scrimmage format for the 2026 edition.
Gates will open at 12:00 for fans to enter the stadium via Gates 14-17, 21-24, 34, and 47-53. The University will enforce its clear-bag policy, and the first 5,000 fans to enter the stadium will receive a poster for the event.
A-Day is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, at 1:00 p.m.
