The Crimson Tide still has two ranked games left on its schedule with LSU and Oklahoma, both at home, which presents ample opportunity for even more electric crowds at Bryant-Denny Stadium, a place where the Crimson Tide regularly knocks it out of the park with recruits. That was the case again on Saturday, with the crowd helping propel the Tide to a win and creating a great atmosphere that recruits enjoyed.

This was the case with Corey Howard, a 6-foot-6, 260-pound edge prospect from Valdosta, Georgia. According to Hayes Fawcett, Howard has now flipped his commitment from the Georgia Bulldogs to the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Howard had been committed to Georgia since June, when he visited the Bulldogs on June 13. He's taken two visits to Alabama since then, taking an unofficial visit to the Capstone on September 6 and an official visit yesterday to watch Alabama's victory over Tennessee.

According to the 247 Sports Composite ranking, Howard ranks as a consensus three-star prospect and is the No. 84 overall defensive lineman in the country. He is ranked as the 77th best player in the state of Georgia.

Howard is the sixth player from Georgia who committed to Alabama. He joins:

Five-star edge Xavier Griffin
Five-star cornerback Jorden Edmonds
Four-star edge Jamarion Matthews
Four-star offensive lineman Chris Booker
Three-star offensive lineman Bear Fretwell
Three-star offensive lineman Jared Doughty

Alabama currently has the No. 3 recruiting class in the 2026 recruiting cycle.
