Four-Star Offensive Lineman De-Commits From Alabama
The Alabama Crimson Tide is preparing for the SEC Championship game against the Georgia Bulldogs, but will have to turn its attention to the recruiting trail, at least for part of this week, with Early Signing Day scheduled for Wednesday, December 3. A large portion of the 2026 recruiting class will put pen to paper this week, and Alabama currently sits with the no. 3 overall class, according to the 247 Sports Team rankings.

After that, Alabama will turn its attention to the 2027 recruiting class, which suffered a decommitment on Monday morning. According to Hayes Fawcett of On3/Rivals Sports, four-star offensive lineman Jatori Williams has de-committed from Alabama's 2027 recruiting class, stating in his de-commitment that "I rushed the process."
Alabama is not out of the running for Williams based on the comments, but the Crimson Tide will be back competing with premier programs across college football for his commitment in 2027. Williams, a 6-foot-5, 320-pound offensive lineman from Central High School in Phenix City, Alabama, committed to Alabama on September 29 after he took a visit to Georgia, where he watched the Crimson Tide's 24-21 victory over the Bulldogs. His primary recruiter is Alabama offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic.
He is rated as the No. 106 overall prospect in the class, the No. 6 interior offensive lineman, and the No. 4 player in Alabama.
The Crimson Tide still has three commitments in the 2027 class, with three-star cornerback Nash Johnson III, four-star quarterback Trent Seaborn, and four-star edge rusher Jabarrius Garror.
