Four-star cornerback out of Thompson High School in Alabama, Trequon Fegans, committed to Alabama, choosing the Crimson Tide over a plethora of power five offers.

Fegans reopened his commitment just last week after selecting the Miami Hurricanes this summer, and didn't waste any time in selecting his next school. With offers from nearly every power five conference, as well as countless group of five schools, Fegans is a very highly sought after prospect and is a huge pickup for the Crimson Tide's 2022 class.

Originally hailing from Oxford High School, Fegans transferred to Thompson High for his senior season, opting to play with fellow Crimson Tide commit Jeremiah Alexander and has been incredible for the Warriors through seven games, recording 22 tackles, seven pass deflections, a pick six and a kickoff return touchdown.

Possessing a blend of great size and instincts at the cornerback position, Fegans plays very physically and excels in man coverage, as well as on special teams.

With Fegans' commitment, Alabama now boasts the number one overall class in the 2022 recruiting cycle, according to 247Sports and looks to top their historic 2021 class.
