According to a press release from Alabama Baseball on Wednesday, junior RHP Chase Lee and sophomore utility player Peyton Wilson have earned American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) / Rawlings All-Southeast first-team honors for the 2021 season.

Chase Lee:

In 2021, Chase Lee's dominating season performance ended with seven saves and a 7-0 record en route to Alabama's first NCAA Tournament appearance in eight seasons. "The Viper" maintained a 1.33 ERA throughout all 22 appearances and only gave up six earned runs through 40.2 innings pitched.

In his time at Alabama, Lee has been selected twice for the SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll ('19,'20) prior to earning his degree in May of 2021. Along with the ABCA/Rawlings honors, Lee was also listed as a third-team All-American by National Collegiate Baseball Writers of America (NCBWA).

Peyton Wilson:

On a team that's hitting statistics finished in the bottom half of the SEC, Peyton Wilson managed to finish the season batting .290 and leading the team in hits (72), doubles (13), total bases (114), and stolen bases (10).

The 2021 season was Wilson's first full season with the Tide, but he made all of his 58 starts count. Along with the region honors, Wilson also managed to secure a bid for the Newcomer All-SEC Team and a second-team All-SEC selection at second base.

The last time an Alabama player was recognized by ABCA/Rawlings came in the 2012 season when Taylor Dugas was selected to the All-Region team.
