A Sweating Competition? Two Tide Lineman Competing in Weird Capacity
Competition is everywhere in college football, from the starting quarterbacks to the ball boys on kickoffs. Spring practice is used for players to compete with one another for a chance to shine on Saturday nights in the Fall as all 133 FBS teams compete for championships.

Today's practice looked like an intense one, with Wilkin Formby's white t-shirt sticking to his 6-foot-7, 322-pound body while Jaeden Roberts stood just a couple of yards away with beads of sweat dripping from his hair. The sweat told the story of a hot day in Tuscaloosa while the Crimson Tide practiced outdoors.
The sweat also introduced a new competition to the Crimson Tide offensive line room.
"Me and J-Rob are in a competition of who sweats the most at this point," Wilkin Formby told reporters on Wednesday.
Who is winning the competition?
"I got him beat," Roberts said.
"He just naturally sweats that much, but every time you see us in the facility, we're just pounding fluids," Formby said.
How is a winner of the competition determined? The dieticians used to help judge, but the two Tide linemen have discovered a better method.
"When you lay on the floor to do abs, whoever has more of a stain on the ground," Formby said.
Roberts also said he estimates that he loses 10 pounds of water weight during practice.
