TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Alabama men's basketball guard Aden Holloway had his ban from the University of Alabama campus reversed on Friday, according to a report by ESPN. Following his ban reversal, ESPN reports he is planning to enroll in fall classes and is hoping to rejoin the team next season, pending the outcome of his legal case.

"Although it's not Aden's call to make, given the opportunity, his intent is to play basketball next year," Holloway's attorney told ESPN.

The decision is, obviously, out of his hands following his March arrest just days before Alabama's matchup with Hofstra in the first round of the NCAA tournament, which Alabama won 90-70. Holloway was arrested for first-degree possession of marijuana and failure to affix a tax stamp, which are both felonies in Alabama. Agents found 2.1 pounds of marijuana at Holloway's residence in addition to paraphernalia, packaging materials, and cash. Agents seized all items found at Holloway's residence.

Holloway was indicted by a grand jury on Thursday on both charges, which carry a maximum sentence of 10 years in jail and a $15,000 fine.

"This was bound to happen no matter what because it's a felony," Neff told ESPN about the indictment. "This is the normal process or procedure for any felony charge."

Holloway was Alabama's second-leading scorer last season, averaging 16.8 points per game. He made 27 starts and appeared in 28 games for the Crimson Tide.
