Notes from Alabama’s Sixth Practice of Fall Camp
Alabama completed its sixth practice of fall camp on Wednesday, and with it, another media viewing portion. I spent all of practice (roughly 15 minutes) watching Alabama's quarterbacks, and here is what we noticed from the Crimson Tide signal callers and the positions around them.

Lotzeir Brooks was still rehabbing an injury that Kalen DeBoer said wouldn't be anything long-term. He was working off to the side by himself while the healthy receivers for Alabama worked with the quarterbacks.
Alabama tight end Josh Cuevas was working off to the side by himself as well as he continues his rehab from an injury during spring practice.
Ty Simpson once again led the way in the reps we saw on Wednesday. On Tuesday, Alabama offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb said Simpson was the only quarterback not currently taking reps with the third-string offense, while Keelon Russell and Austin Mack are. Simpson hit a couple of good passes on Wednesday, finding Ryan Williams on a simple drag route and floating a ball to Marshall Pritchett.
We couldn't get very close to the quarterbacks, but Keelon Russell had a nice pass to Rico Scott during the same passing drill.
Along the offensive line, we saw Olaus Alinen working with the offensive tackles, something that head coach Kalen DeBoer and offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb mentioned during the week.
Alabama will continue practice on Thursday and Friday, with the first scrimmage of fall camp slated for Saturday morning.
