Alabama Adds Former Utah CB to Roster
The Crimson Tide added another talented defender to its defense on Wednesday, with Hayes Fawcett of On3 Sports reporting that Cameron Calhoun is transferring to Alabama.
Calhoun, a 6-foot, 180-pound cornerback, entered the transfer portal from Utah. Alabama will be his third school in three years, with Calhoun spending the 2023 college football season as a redshirt freshman with the Michigan Wolverines.
Calhoun totaled 21 tackles, nine pass breakups, and one interception with the Utes in 2024. He will have three seasons of eligibility remaining once he gets to Alabama.
He was a four-star cornerback prospect from Winton Woods High School in Cincinnati, Ohio when he committed and signed with the Michigan Wolverines as a member of its 2023 recruiting class.
