Alabama Announces A-Day Date
The Spring game for Alabama football has been set, with Alabama slated to play its annual A-Day scrimmage between the first and second team players on Saturday, April 12.

This will be Kalen DeBoer's second A-Day game as the Crimson Tide's head coach. In 2024, the A-Day game took place on Saturday, April 13, just before the spring transfer portal window opened the following week.
The White team defeated the Crimson team 34-28. Alabama running back Jam Miller was named the game's MVP. Miller had two touchdowns in the game.
The 2025 spring game will conclude the spring practice window for the Crimson Tide, culminating in a scrimmage between the Crimson Tide.
Fans can watch the scrimmage inside Bryant-Denny Stadium, as the game has been free for fans to attend for several years. It can provide insight into what the 2025 Crimson Tide football team will look like before Alabama plays against Florida State on August 30.
This year's A-Day game will be a captivating one, as Alabama will likely be hosting a three-man competition at the quarterback position between Austin Mack, Keelon Russell, and Ty Simpson. Jalen Milroe declared for the 2025 NFL draft earlier in January, so Alabama will look to replace the two-year signal caller. Milroe won an SEC championship and made an appearance in the College Football Playoffs in his two seasons as Alabama's starting quarterback.
The A-Day game taking place on April 12 will help the Crimson Tide, as it will be four days before the spring transfer portal window opens on April 16. The spring transfer portal window will open on April 16, and remain open for 10 days.
