Alabama Baseball Announces Schedule Change This Week
Alabama baseball has announced a schedule change for this week's slate of games.
The Crimson Tide's matchup versus Jacksonville State was originally set for Wednesday, March 1 at 3 p.m. CST. However, due to the threat of severe weather, the game will now be on Tuesday, Feb. 28 at 3 p.m. CST at Sewell-Thomas Stadium.
The Tuscaloosa area, as well as much of Alabama, has a marginal risk for severe weather on Wednesday afternoon. Some of the impacts include hail and damaging winds.
"Tickets for Wednesday's originally scheduled matchup will be honored on Tuesday. Tuesday's game will also be a '$2 Tuesday' with tickets priced at $2 for all fans in attendance," said RollTide.com.
The game will be aired on Tide 100.9 FM starting at 2:55 p.m. CST on Tuesday.
