Alabama Basketball Continues to Slide in AP Poll

The Crimson Tide continued its short slide in the AP Poll after another week of SEC action, toppling Mississippi State at home on Tuesday before falling heartbreakingly to Tennessee on a last second buzzer-beater 79-76.

With the results of the week's action, the Auburn Tigers have clinched the SEC regular season title and the No. 1-seed in the SEC tournament in Nashville, Tennessee.

The Tigers once again sit atop the AP Poll, with Alabama continuing a slide ahead of two massive games this week against Florida and Auburn.

Alabama men's basketball will end its regular season this week with two games against two AP Top Five opponents. Alabama will take on No. 5 Florida on Wednesday, March 5, and No. 1 Auburn on Saturday, March 8.

Alabama's game against Florida will be the Crimson Tide's last home game of the season.
