The Alabama Crimson Tide basketball season wrapped up with a loss in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The Tide has already seen several of its players depart the program via the transfer portal, graduation or even opting for the NBA Draft as roster management is well underway.

The Tide is bringing in one of the best recruiting classes in the nation, highlighted by not one, but two McDonalds All-Americans.

Despite the top tier recruiting class incoming next fall, head coach Nate Oats and his staff aren't done with roster management. Oats and company have turned to the transfer portal to enhance the depth and skills of the 2022 roster.

According to several reports the Crimson Tide has at the very minimum reached out to Princeton guard Jaelin Llewellyn, Illinois State guard Antonio Reeves, Ohio guard Mark Sears, West Virginia forward Jalen Bridges and Morehead State forward Johni Broom.

Mark Sears - He is considered one of the top players in the transfer portal out of Ohio University. The 6-foot-1 guard out of Muscle Shoals, Alabama averaged 19.7 points and 4.1 assists per game in 2021-22 for the Bobcats.

He shot right at 40% from 3-point land this past season and appears to be the type of player that could immediately help the Tide. Alabama says goodbye to all four of its primary ball-handlers from 2021-22, creating an opportunity for Sears to step in and be immediately impactful.

Jaelin Llewellyn - The 6-foot-2 guard out of Princeton has already made his way to Tuscaloosa on a visit and would immediately provide Oats and company an experienced shooter. He averaged 15.7 points off 38% shooting from 3-point range in the Ivy League.

The Tide has already had success in the Ivy League transfer market under Oats in the likes of Jordan Bruner out of Yale in 2020-21.

Antonio Reeves - He's a 6-foot-4 guard who averaged 20.1 points per game off 39% from 3-point range for Illinois State. The rising senior has been highly coveted for his athleticism and ability to score in many ways.

Jalen Bridges - Has reportedly scheduled a visit to the Capstone in the middle of the month as he decides his next destination. He's a 6-foot-7 forward who averaged 8.4 points and 4.8 rebounds for the West Virginia Mountaineers in 2021.

Johni Broome - He's a 6-foot-10 forward out of Moorehead State and a two time member of the All Ohio Valley Conference Team. The big man averaged 16.8 points and 10.5 rebounds last season and has heard from all the biggest names in college basketball.
