The rollercoaster ride that was Alabama basketball 2021-22 came to a merciful end on Friday when the Crimson Tide was eliminated by Notre Dame in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

All eyes turn to Nate Oats now as roster management for the 2022-23 season is now fully underway.

According to multiple sources, Alabama forward Keon Ambrose-Hylton has opted to enter the transfer portal in search of a new home.

Ambrose-Hylton joins Alex Tchikou and Jaden Quinerly who have already entered the transfer portal.

The former 4-star prospect out of Canada played in 11 games in 2021-22 scoring 11 points and hauling in nine rebounds.

Ambrose-Hylton, at 6-foot-8, 215 pounds will provide a college team with a physical presence under the basket. Unfortunately his skillsets were not the best fit in the wide open Alabama system.

The Alabama Crimson Tide is bringing in the No. 3 recruiting class in the nation in 2022, a class that includes prominent 4-star forwards Nick Pringle and Noah Clowney.
