Davis-Fleming was a freshman last year at Mississippi State, starting six games for the Bulldogs, but appeared in 32. He averaged 3.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 0.7 assists per game while shooting 67.6% from the floor on 20.2 minutes played per game. The 6-foot-10, 240-pound forward is a former four-star recruit in the Bulldogs' 2025 recruiting class.

His top game for the Bulldogs during the 2025-26 season came in a 68-67 loss to Ole Miss on January 17, where he played 28 minutes and scored 13 points, adding eight rebounds and four blocks against the Rebels. Originally hailing from Canton, Mississippi, he was the No. 1 player in Mississippi coming out of high school. He originally chose Mississippi State over LSU and James Madison, holding offers from Alabama, Wake Forest, Fresno State, and the three previously mentioned schools.
