Alabama Basketball Prepares to Bounce Back
Alabama basketball returns to Coleman Coliseum tomorrow after losing on the road to LSU on Wednesday night. Head Coach Nate Oats, freshman Jaylen Forbes and sophomore Kira Lewis Jr. spoke to the media after Friday’s practice ahead of the next game against Arkansas. The trio spoke plainly about the need to play a tough brand of basketball to return to its winning ways.
Oats updated the media on the status of senior guard James “Beatle” Bolden calling it a “game day decision” whether he will play against the Razorbacks. Oats stressed the importance of pounding the glass as his team has been outrebounded severely in the previous two games. Forbes was complemented for the toughness he has brought to the team despite seeing limited action.
