The Alabama Crimson Tide finished its two-game road trip with a dominant victory over a top-10 team according to the Associated Press, and showed strong offensive play against a top-20 defense, with a 94-88 victory over Texas A&M.

Alabama had to play physically, with the officials letting both teams play in the low post, but Alabama did not shy away from the contact, with Alabama out-playing Texas A&M in every major facet that the Crimson Tide needed to in order to command success as they take a 3-0 record to begin SEC play.

Coming into the night, Texas A&M was ranked as a top-20 defense according to Bart Torvik, yet Alabama was able to control the game and dominate the scoreboard from the opening tip, with the Crimson Tide taking a 52-44 lead into halftime.

In the second half, the whistle of the official drastically slowed down the pace of play. Despite the change in officiating, a change that saw Mouhamed Dioubate foul out before the final media timeout, Alabama was able to hang on to its first-half lead to clinch its second road victory in SEC play, and third victory overall in SEC play.

Alabama held a 15-point lead at one point in this game, but Texas A&M did a good job of clawing its way back into the game. Alabama was able to hold on to the lead, resulting in a big win on the road against one of the top teams in the country.

Texas A&M was viewed as one of, if not the top, offensive rebounding team in the country. Alabama outplayed them on the boards with 54 rebounds compared to Texas A&M's 46.
