The Alabama Crimson Tide have returned to the practice field following their Spring break. On Tuesday, Alabama practiced for the fourth time, and they took the field for the fifth time on Thursday.

Thursday's practice was open to the media. Here's what Tide 100.9 noticed on the practice field at the Mal Moore Athletic Facility.

Alabama's defensive line spent parts of practice on the bag. Defensive line coach Freddie Roach was giving 'bandit' or defensive lineman Keon Keeley some instruction on keeping his head up, rather than looking at the ground.

True freshman linebacker Sterling Dixon was in a black jersey on Wednesday but still participated in the media viewing portion of practice.

Snapping is still a work in progress for Alabama's offensive line.

Alabama's inside linebackers worked on block shedding, with Jeremiah Alexander getting the reps behind Deontae Lawson and Jihaad Campbell. Justin Jefferson was fourth.

Other observations:

A group that looked to be labeled the 'ones' included Zabien Brown, Red Morgan, and Domani Jackson alongside Malachi Moore.

The Alabama quarterbacks are still being worked on the far side of the field, with Jalen Milroe in the lead. Ty Simpson, Austin Mack, and Dylan Lonergan followed, in that order.

True freshman cornerback Jaylen Mbakwe has gained some muscle mass. Or at least the pads make him look bigger.

Zavier Mincey was working with the cornerbacks instead of the safeties.

Kane Wommack and Maurice Linguist bring an extremely high energy to Alabama practices. They aren't afraid to go up to the players and coach them loudly.
