Alabama Defense Gets Veteran Back From Injury
The Alabama Crimson Tide football program is in the middle of spring practice in one of the most important offseasons in the Nick Saban era. On Monday the Tide received great news on the defensive side of the football. Redshirt senior defensive linemen Justin Eboigbe took to Twitter to announce that he was fully healthy and cleared to return to football by doctors.
Eboigbe was a key contributor along the Crimson Tide's defensive front in the early part of the 2022 season. Unfortunately a neck injury sidelined the Forest Park Ga. native and he was only able to play in four games for Alabama last season.
There was some speculation that Eboigbe's injury may have cost him his football playing career, so it's excellent news that he's able to return to action.
The Alabama defensive line should be a strength in 2023 as the Tide returns starters Tim Smith, Jaheim Oatis and now Eboigbe now that he's been medically cleared.
Alabama still has three more weeks of spring practice and will finish with the annual A-Day game on Saturday, April 22.
