TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Amid concerns about Hurricane Isaias, ESPN's popular College Gameday kickoff show will no longer be on the quad, with the cinematic shot of Denny Chimes in the background. Instead, College Gameday will head indoors, broadcasting from Coleman Coliseum.

It's a little early for College Gameday to be visiting Nate Oats and Tide Hoops, but there's no denying the buzz around what the Crimson Tide's coach is building after a fourth consecutive Sweet 16 appearance.

Alright, the previous line was a little sarcastic. In all seriousness, the move indoors is to provide a safe environment for fans in attendance, as well as the College Gameday crew, with Hurricane Isaias expected to make landfall along the Alabama Gulf Coast on Friday night. The storm is expected to be over Tuscaloosa around the time College Gameday goes on the air, but the latest projections have the storm out of Tuscaloosa before Alabama's primetime kickoff against the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday night.

Fans planning to be in Tuscaloosa for the game day festivities are encouraged to stay connected with the National Weather Service and the National Hurricane Center for the latest updates on Hurricane Isaias, which officially became a hurricane on Wednesday night.

No. 6 Alabama will host No. 2 Georgia on Saturday, October 10, inside Bryant-Denny Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. CT on ABC.
