According to a report by Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports, Alabama bandit defensive lineman Jordan Renaud is entering the transfer portal. Renaud, a 6-foot-4, 265-pound defensive lineman from Sarasota, Florida, is the third bandit defensive lineman Alabama has lost this offseason, following starter LT Overton's declaration for the NFL after exhausting his eligibility and reserve Keon Keeley's entry into the transfer portal.

Renaud attended Tyler Legacy High School in Tyler, Texas, and signed with the Crimson Tide as a four-star prospect in Alabama's 2023 recruiting class, originally committing to play for former Alabama head coach Nick Saban. He was ranked as the No. 92 overall prospect in the class, the No. 12 edge prospect, and the No. 18 prospect in the state of Texas.

Renaud rotated at Bandit defensive end for the Crimson Tide during the 2025 season and started two games for the Crimson Tide against Georgia in the SEC championship and against Oklahoma in the College Football Playoff after starter LT Overton missed two games due to a medical issue.

During his three seasons with the Crimson Tide, Renaud totaled 34 tackles and 0.5 sacks. He is the third bandit defensive lineman to depart Alabama, meaning the Crimson Tide will have a brand new bandit room for the 2026 season. Alabama transfer portal signee Devan Thompkins, from USC, is a candidate to play that role.
