Alabama Earns Commitment From 5 Star OT

The Alabama Crimson Tide now has two five-stars committed in as many days while the recruiting trails on fire for the Crimson Tide.

The Crimson Tide continues to earn commitments from June's first big recruiting weekend. According to Hayes Fawcett of On3 Sports, five-star offensive tackle Ty Haywood has committed to Alabama.

Haywood is the No. 11 overall prospect in the country according to composite. He is listed as the No. 2 overall offensive lineman and the No. 4 overall player in the state of Texas.

Haywood held offers from multiple other top-notch power-five programs, including Texas, Oklahoma, Florida State, Georgia, and Ohio State, among others. He committed to Alabama over Oklahoma, Florida State, and TCU.

The 6-foot-5, 285-pound prospect also competes in shot-put and discus for his high school's track and field team.
