Alabama Earns Commitment From No. 4 Kicker

Alabama's special teams have been a point of contention. over the Nick Saban dynasty, with elite-level punters but subpar kickers. That dynamic changed in Tuscaloosa with the addition of Will Recihard, who ended up setting the NCAA record for points in a single season.

With Reichard heading to the NFL, Alabama picked up the 2023 Lou Groza Award-winning kicker Graham Nicholson.

Alabama added competition in that room for the 2025 season, with Peter Notaro committing to the Crimson Tide.

According to Kohl's Professional Camps, Notaro is the No. 4 kicker in the country.

Notaro is from North Allegheny in Pennsylvania and was rated as a five-star kicker and punter according to Kohls.

Notaro also held offers from West Virginia, Pittsburgh, and Ohio State.
